Best View of Site

Every endeavour has been made to ensure that this site is useable whatever your web browser. However, not all web browsers are created equally and so do not display the site in the same way.

Three main technologies have been used in making HCMC Net; frames, JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Yes, this is all meaningless jargon to most of you, but how well your browser uses these technologies affects how the site looks. In particular, to implement frames and JavaScript properly you require a version 4.0 browser, and to view CSS's correctly you need Internet Explorer (Netscape Navigator has a few bugs in it's CSS implementation). We would thus advise the use of Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0 to make sure the site looks correct.

On the screen side, you really should be running at a resolution of at least 800x600, and if you aren't then your computer usage is being impaired (and not only while using this site). To see what resolution you are currently running, right-mouse click on a blank area of the desktop (say, beside the Recycle Bin) and choose Properties. Look under the settings tab and in the middle-right of the box you will see what resolution you are using. If it is 640x800, change it now!

Some files available for download require an additional program, Adobe Acrobat Reader before they can be viewed. Check to see if you have it installed - if you don't you can download it via the link below. (Version 3 or above is required)
